Service Description
This course is designed for students to have a more flexible option to complete their classroom requirements. Students can work on class work at times that best fit into their schedule. We will provide a course assignment sheet to help students stay on track with course work. Students should be able to dedicate a minimum of 1 hour daily or 5 hours weekly to their online coursework. Behind the wheel driving will be scheduled on a weekly basis. This course is expected to be finished within 6 weeks from start date. Orientation- May 18th 2025 Zoom Class 1 May 20th 2025 Zoom Class 2 May 21st 2025 Permit Test June 23rd 2025 TERMS AND CONDITIONS(PLEASE READ) This course will satisfy all requirements by the state of Maine to acquire a learners permit. I am applying to Dirigo Driving Academy for basic drivers education. I understand this course requires 2 instructor led sessions and registering with AAA(additional $50 cost) for the online course to satisfy the classroom requirements and 10 hours behind the wheel instruction with a Dirigo instructor. Course must be completed by scheduled end date. Student must be able to stay on track with assigned course work to be finished in accordance with the provided course assignment sheet. Students must complete all AAA online course requirements before scheduled final exam. If scheduled final exam is missed a make up permit class will be required. Make up class cost is $100. Students are required to score an 80% or higher to pass the final exam. Should the student fail the final exam 2 times they will need to repeat the classroom portion of the course. A parent/student orientation is required before the start of any class and is typically held the Sunday before the 1st day of class. Refunds: The deposit is non-refundable. You may drop the course up to and including the 1st day of class for a full refund not including the deposit. If you move your registration to a different class within 5 days of the 1st day of class your deposit will be forfeited. After the 1st class no refund will be given. You may return and finish the class at a later date, not to exceed 6 months of the date of the class for which you are registered. The balance owed must be paid by the starting date of class unless other arrangements have been made.
